Sex On The Beach

Sex on the Beach is made with Vodka, Peach Schnapps, Orange Juice and Cranberry Juice. It’s fruity, easy drinking, sweet and a touch tart.

Sex on the Beach still remains a popular cocktail. You’ll mostly see it served at weddings or large events where younger female drinkers are looking for a cocktail that is smooth and sweet.

As a bartender, I often referred to Sex on the Beach as the Karma Sutra of cocktails as there are so many variations. At large events, you might not have a fully stocked bar to make Sex on the Beach, as your bar might be in someone’s backyard, etc. Thus, sometimes you might see Sex on the Beach prepared with light rum, grenadine, triple sec, 7up, soda water, sparkling wine, etc. In such instances, as long as you hand out something sweet and smooth, your customer should be happy.
