This tasty shooter has a luxurious creamy taste.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 oz. Butterscotch Schnapps

  • 1/2 oz. Bailey’s Irish Cream

Directions

  • Select a shot glass that has a narrow opening to make it easier to create the layered effect.
  • Pour the Butterscotch Schnapps into the shot glass, filling it halfway. Butterscotch Schnapps is a golden brown liqueur that forms the bottom layer of the Buttery Nipple.
  • Next, take a spoon and place it just above the Butterscotch Schnapps layer, with the rounded side facing up. Slowly pour the Irish cream liqueur over the spoon, allowing it to trickle down gently onto the Butterscotch Schnapps layer. This technique helps create the layered effect by preventing the two liqueurs from mixing completely.
  • Once you’ve added the Irish cream liqueur, you should have a distinct separation between the two layers. The creamy, off-white Irish cream layer will float on top of the brown Butterscotch Schnapps layer.
  • Serve the Buttery Nipple shooter immediately, as the layered effect may begin to blend over time. It’s best enjoyed by taking the shot in one swift motion, allowing the flavours to combine in your mouth.

Notes

  • For a Slippery Nipple, substitute Sambuca for the Butterscotch Schnapps
