Queen’s Tipple Recipe

The Queen’s Tipple is made with Red Dubonnet and Gin. Also known as the Queen’s Favourite Drink (I am referring to Queen Elizabeth here), the cocktail was passed down by her mother.

To match the what the Queen drinks, you should use French Dubonnet, which has less Alcohol than American Dubonnet. French Dubonnet is also more bitter and less sweet than the American Dubonnet. It’s sort of if you combined the bitterness of Campari with Sweet Vermouth. I much prefer American Dubonnet in my Queen’s Tipple as I find it goes down a bit easier.
