The Tiger Tail Shot is made from Tia Maria, Grand Marnier, and Peppermint Schnapps. It is a layered shot meant to resemble the colour for a tiger tail.

In Canada, we have a famous ice cream that is called Tiger Tail Ice Cream. It is orange flavoured with a black licorice swirl throughout. The Tiger Tail Shooter tastes nothing like Tiger Tail Ice Cream. For this shooter, you’ll want the Canadian Tiger Tail.

The layered shooter called a Tiger Tail is meant to resemble the colour of a tiger tail. Tasting of coffee, orange and peppermint, this shooter isn’t all that delicious – but hey, it looks cool!

Ingredients

  • 1/3 oz. Tia Maria

  • 1/3 oz. Grand Marnier

  • 1/3 oz. Peppermint Schnapps

Directions

  • Add your Tia Maria to a shot glass.
  • Slowly pour the Grand Marnier down the back of a spoon to layer it on top of the Tia Maria.
  • Finally, layer your Peppermint Schnapps on to the shot.
