Is Rose’s Lime Juice Cordial the same as Bar Lime?

There is a huge difference between Rose’s Lime Juice Cordial and Bar Lime in terms of sweetness, flavour and tartness. Bar Lime is sweet and tart, and tastes like you’d expect a Lime flavoured Kool-Aid to taste. Straight bar lime will hit you like a sour key candy, and make you pucker up.

Rose’s Lime Juice Cordial is also a sweetened Lime Juice, however, it is not as sweet as Bar Lime, nor as tart or sour. I consider Rose’s Lime Juice Cordial much more mild than Bar Lime, or Fresh Lime juice that has been sweetened with simple Syrup.
