The Monte Cristo is a hot coffee beverage made with Kahlua, Grand Marnier, hot Coffee, and is topped with Whipped Cream. This is an excellent beverage to end your night at a restaurant or to enjoy at home by the fireplace!

kcalThe Monte Cristo is delicious any time of year, however, I find it tastes best during the Christmas season, due to the festive citrus flavours of Grand Marnier.
Ingredients
1 oz. Kahlua Coffee Liqueur
1/2 oz. Grand Marnier Orange Liqueur
6 oz. freshly brewed coffee
Whipped Cream
Directions
- Preheat your Glass or Mug by filling with warm water and Rim Glass or Mug with sugar (optional)
- Add Kahlua and Grand Marnier to a heat safe glass with a handle or a mug
- Fill with hot coffee, leaving some room for Whipped Cream at the top
- Top with whipped cream when ready to serve (the cream melts fast so don’t add it too soon)
Notes
- This beverage is hot! – so it requires a glass meant for hot beverages.
